Realtime Worlds (Press Release) has just noted information about the recent rumor of Realtime Worlds repurchasing APB's rights back from Webzen. Thanks to a quick post by Rockdan101. This has now been confirmed, stating "Realtime Worlds, Inc., a leading independent video game developer, today announced that it has regained the global distribution rights to All Points Bulletin (APB), the highly-anticipated urban-themed massively multiplayer online game (MMOG) under development in the company s Dundee studio."
Gamespot also reports more on the PS3 rumor that has been going around. "While APB had initially been slated to appear for the Xbox 360 and the PC, a Realtime Worlds spokesperson told GameSpot that the "PC edition is the developer's priority and will be the first to market. RTW rep said that if it does proceed with console editions of the game, both an Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 version are on the table."
Furthermore Realtime Worlds has said it plans to launch a closed and an open beta later this year. Which was also noted by the Mario (Business Development Manager) of RTW, earlier this week.
